Empire is a family-owned Aluminum & Zinc Die Cast company with roots dating back to 1947. What began as three independent operations — Empire, an aluminum die casting plant in Maple Heights, Ohio; Industrial Castings, a zinc die casting plant in Cleveland, Ohio; and Kay Tool, a precision machining shop — came together under one roof in 2000 at our current Macedonia, Ohio facility, uniting decades of combined expertise under a single name.
Today, Empire Die Casting serves a diverse range of industries, including medical, locomotive, oil, and automotive, delivering high-quality castings backed by over 75 years of manufacturing heritage and professionalism.
Operating from a facility spanning more than 200,000 square feet, Empire houses a full range of aluminum and zinc die cast machines, ranging from 400T to 1200T on the aluminum side and 100T to 800T on the zinc side, to meet varying production needs. In addition, our Mini Zinc division features 6 Tech multi-slide machines, allowing us to produce complex, high-precision small zinc components with exceptional efficiency and repeatability.
Beyond casting, Empire offers in-house machining capabilities through our CNC machines and lathes. For products requiring additional finishing, we partner with a trusted network of outside suppliers to provide impregnation, anodizing, powder coating, grinding, polishing, and more.
